Our Core Values

PARD INDIA works towards “giving back to our society” with the collective participation of its members, staff, and volunteers to imbibe, internalize, and consistently demonstrate the following core values across the organization:

Main Goals

Education

  • Support deprived children (V-kids) from rural backgrounds who are often denied equal opportunities in their upbringing, study environment, and exposure to the competitive world by shaping them to become tomorrow's global leaders.
  • To educate local communities and stakeholders to take responsibility for the situation of the deprived children in Indian rural areas through individual and collective actions, enabling children to realize their full potential.
  • Promote quality and value education at the primary study level, creating equal empowerment opportunities among the children and breaking the cycle of poverty.

Health

  • Serve people in need with food under the “Feed the Hungry” program as part of collective action to achieve the UN’s SDG 2 “Zero Hunger” by 2030.
  • Undertake medical camps and health awareness programs, ensuring healthy lives and the well-being of everyone through WASH Projectsat the grassroots.
  • Help the affected communities due to pandemics, floods, fire, earthquakes, road accidents, etc., through “Emergency & Disaster Relief" initiatives.

Environment

  • Develop green community neighborhoods through "Green Challenge" initiatives and empower them to protect our mother Planet.
  • Educate and connect children and local communities in rural areas with global "Climate Change" and “Carbon Reduction” actions for restoring a healthy environment for the sustainability of our generations.
  • Encourage "Green Technologies" to generate “Wealth out of Waste (WoW)” and to ensure every community has an awareness of waste management for a better quality of life in rural areas.

Skill Development & Livelihood Creation

  • Undertake “Skill development” initiatives such as IT courses, Technical & Soft skill courses, Sewing Training, etc., for the economic independence of youth and women at the grassroots level.
  • Create“Social Entrepreneurship” opportunities among the educated youth in rural areas that support a circular economy at the grassroots.
  • Promote “Self Help Groups” with members of 10 to 20 and empower them with skill development, thereby creating livelihood opportunities for the sustenance of their families and transforming the marginalized communities.

Key Objectives by 2030

  • To provide 8.0 million e-hours of free education through the “After School Education Program,” covering 20,000 V-kids in about 150 schools across rural India.
  • To empower 5,000 women through free sewing training under “The POWER of SEWING” Project by creating decent working and earning self-sustaining opportunities.
  • To empower 5,000 unemployed youth through free IT / Computer Skill Development intervention under the “Village Knowledge Center Program” by creating decent working and earning opportunities in nation-building.
  • To fetch 500,000 meals to needy people in rural areas under the “Feed the Hungry” program.
  • To give life to 250,000 new trees under “Green Challenge” initiatives in rural and urban areas.
