PARD INDIA successfully organized a Free Eye Medical Camp at Pallantla village in collaboration with Smt. Rajeswari Ramakrishnan Lions Eye Hospital. In addition, Janata Hospital conducted free blood sugar and blood pressure screening for the beneficiaries.
The camp was inaugurated by renowned humanitarian and social worker Sri Balusu Satyanarayana. Addressing the gathering, he appreciated the dedicated services rendered by PARD INDIA and expressed hope that the organization would continue to expand its community welfare initiatives in the future.
He highlighted PARD INDIA's various social service programs, including its After-School Education Program, Ambulance Services, and Sewing Machine Empowerment Project. He also noted that the organization has been actively conducting several developmental and welfare activities in Pallantla village.
During the camp, 51 people underwent comprehensive eye examinations, and 13 patients were referred for cataract surgeries. Additionally, 51 beneficiaries received free blood sugar and blood pressure tests.
The program was attended by PARD INDIA members Eduri David, Somashetty Venkata Rao, Dr. Chandana, Srinivas, Krishna, Haribabu, Rajeswari, Bhavani, Pallavi, Lavanya, and several other volunteers, whose efforts contributed to the successful conduct of the medical camp.
