A delegation from Teach for India visited the PARD INDIA office and After-School Education Program (ASEP) center’s in Yernagudem to review the organizations education initiatives for students studying in government schools in rural areas.
For the past 15 years, PARD INDIA has been implementing its After-School Education Program across the Telugu-speaking states with the objective of providing quality education and strengthening foundational learning among children from rural and underserved communities.
During the visit, the Teach for India team reviewed various aspects of the program, including teaching methodologies followed at government schools, students’ learning skills, teacher coordination, the contribution of volunteers, student attendance, and overall academic progress. The representatives also interacted directly with students and assessed their learning abilities.
The team observed and appreciated the use of activity-based learning methods, individual attention, and student-centered teaching approaches aimed at strengthening foundational skills and building confidence among children.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives of Teach for India appreciated PARD INDIA’s sustained efforts over the past 15 years to strengthen learning outcomes among students in government schools. They described the After-School Education Program as an inspiring initiative that is making a meaningful contribution to improving students’ learning abilities and strengthening their educational foundations.
The representatives further appreciated PARD INDIA’s efforts towards rural education and expressed their hope that such initiatives would be expanded to reach more communities and students.
Representatives of PARD INDIA stated that the organization’s primary objective is to ensure that every child studying in a government school has access to quality education. They added that PARD INDIA will continue its efforts to expand and strengthen its educational services in the coming years.

Swamy; Teach for India representatives Soumya and Rishikesh; PARD INDIA Executive President Ambati Srinivasa Rao; Executive Secretary Nekkanti Venkatesh; Honorary President Cheemakurthi Prasad; Nallajarla Mandal President Mohammed Shareef; CSR Manager (Visakhapatnam) Sireesha; Gopalapuram Mandal President Doddigarla Venkatesh, along with PARD INDIA team members, government school headmasters, teachers, and volunteers.
As part of the interaction, the organizations agreed to explore opportunities for mutual collaboration and wider implementation of the After-School Education Program. Participants highlighted that collaboration among voluntary organisations, educational institutions, and social service organizations is crucial for improving the quality of education available to students in government schools.
The visit concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening partnerships and creating greater educational opportunities for children in rural communities.
